Travel Grants of $1,000 have been funded by IGCS Members to help defray expenses for attendance at the 12th Biennial Meeting, 25-28 October 2008 in Bangkok.

Applications were restricted to current IGCS Members residing in Low-Income economies (as defined by the World Bank). Criteria for selection included the submission of a complete application including a letter of support, current IGCS dues payment, longer membership in the IGCS and acceptance of an abstract for presentation at the Bangkok meeting.  A total of 41 applications were received.
