The IGCS Office of Educational Resources (OER) was created in July 2006 to facilitate the educational mission of the Society.  This is to be accomplished through the following initiatives, in collaboration with the Education Committee, and with guidance from IGCS Council:

• Website Redesign and Development
  

• Basic Educational Resources (including meeting slide presentations, guidelines, and pathology teaching slides)

• Interactive Educational Resources (including Tumor Board, Case Discussions, and Journal Club)

• Special Educational Projects (with or without financial sponsorship)

Michael Bookman, from Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was selected as the founding Director.
